Blunht |
From the Eastern
side of Scotland's central belt, Blunht play an
unmissable brand of hardcore metal with a subtle hip-hop influence.
Songs such as 'Knowone' and 'Needless' are pure lessons in bludgeoning
riffs played with ferocious force. New songs maintain the heavy
groove based ethic of the band's sound whilst exploring a funkier,
more dynamic direction. Their album should be complete by July
thus Blunht are well on the way to being ready for their full-length
debut - an event which cannot come soon enough. Their new album
'Blunht' is a purified assault of condensed aggression delivered
in a cerebral metal style. Intense but massively groove based,
it is a record which should appeal to fans all across the genre.
Influences range from Korn to Will Haven to, er, The Pink Panther.
So don't be a phool, enter the realm of Blunht and Get Da Phunk.

"Wankers"
said an elderly lady of this Elgin based dysfunctional posse.
Attaining their thousand yard stare because of the fact there's
nothing to do in Morayshire except stare at the pubs for hours
before opening. The Beagle might get around to
recording an album one day, should they ever be bothered.

Lookout for the
Beagle on their twice yearly support slot when
they couldn't get somebody who could actually play their instruments.
